09 Fantasy Halloween Fight Club

It’s that time or year again. The time where we all get together to pick our favorite Halloween themed movie villains to create a playoff forum to decide who has the best squad. Oh, wait, you don’t do that too?

This is a first for the ManWhole creators (possibly for anyone) but we have a feeling that it will catch on quick. This gives you, the reader, the opportunity to have your opinions heard. No stupid log ins to leave a comment. No registration form to be heard my friend, just your good old fashioned input.

Here’s the idea. We have selected 25 of the top Halloween themed movie villains, and placed them in a pool. The four of us (Zach, Gregg, Brendan, and Bucky, the writers) will have a fantasy draft to choose the five villains in our squad. Then we will randomly choose match-ups and decide, match by match, who has the best team. This is where you come in. Instead posting a boring story that we make up, we want you, the reader, to be the judge for the matches. You will be able to read our short arguments why our villain should win. The votes will be tallied, and a winner will be announced.

Our draft took place a few days ago, and here is how it went. The first number is the order they were picked. The second number is the number that villain was on the respective persons pre-ranking list.

Gregg is facing Brendan in the first round, and Zach is facing Bucky. The order of the match-ups were chosen randomly.

Read the short arguments from each “Head Coach” and vote for who you want to win. It’s a best-of-5 series, so the first to three wins moves on to the finals. We will open up a new round everyday until all the matches are tallied up, so keep checking in everyday to vote for who you think should win.
