Stay away from Soy! Screw those soy milk and soy bar commercials. Sure they look delicious and are probably tasty, but they could kill you. See, it’s these kinds of things that you need to know. We will expand upon this and other foods and diets within the dieting section of the ManWhole website. Men have very specific diet needs in order to operate at our highest and best capacities.
Personally, I have struggled with food for my entire life (that phrase made me sound old) and only recently have been able to wrangle the beast. But, I can say that more than any other single spot, what you put in your mouth has a huge affect on all facets of your life. If you have set certain goals for weight lifting, physique changes, mental growth, or a general positive outlook on life, food and your diet, plays a central role in helping you achieve those goals. And, if you don’t do things right, you may never well get there, or it may take you much, much longer.
One thing I learned that helped a lot is that it doesn’t take massive changes in your food intake behavior to have profound positive impacts on your life; and these small changes simply take advantage of efficiency (I strive to be as efficient at things as possible so I don’t have to do more work!). For example, eating the proper foods, before, during, and after a workout, can have huge affects on your ability during a workout, your recovery, and your eventual physique. Planning out this one small portion of your diet, while literally not doing anything else can have long-lasting effects.
